Quality Assurance Technician

Responsibilities

• Performs final quality checks on devices that have gone through the repair process, ensuring devices are presentable and functioning properly before being sent to shipping.
• Prepares and updates claim approvals as necessary, ensuring proper charges for repairs are assigned.
• Records thorough quality inspection video of repaired priority devices to document the finished repair and condition of the units as they are prepared for shipping back to the customer.
• Prepares outbound shipments of repaired devices to be sent back to the customer.
• Receives and sorts daily shipments of devices to be repaired.
• Processes inbound devices by cataloging and sorting shipments into appropriate device storage bins.
• Records accurate and thorough video of received priority devices to document the condition in which the units have arrived.
• Organizes repaired devices by customer name to ensure an accurate and manageable workflow for the Final QC process.
• Works with the office coordinator to correct discrepancies with inbound and outbound shipments, claim submission issues, customer information, and other issues as they arise.
• Audits device storage bins to ensure devices to be repaired are in the correct bins.
• Prepares, cleans, and maintains a safe workstation and work environment.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Quality control and/or shipping experience is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Effective problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency in general math.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• General computer proficiency.
