Assistant Vice President for University Advancement
The Assistant Vice President for University Advancement oversees the administrative unit comprising Alumni Engagement, Scholarship, Foundation, and Development. Directors of these areas report to the Assistant Vice President. The position reports directly to the President and is appointed as the Executive Officer of the Foundation, serving as the principal liaison between the WIU Foundation Board of Directors and university administration.

CompensationSalary range: $100,000 – $140,000 per year, negotiable based on experience.

Job Requirements- Master’s degree
- Minimum three years of senior administrative experience in advancement, foundation, or alumni relations
- Demonstrated leadership and accomplishments in advancement with proven fundraising, campaign planning, and major gift solicitation record
- Comprehensive knowledge of strategies employed across major development and alumni functions
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work with diverse individuals and groups
- Degree must be earned from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent from an international accrediting body (conferred at time of appointment)
