Wellness Nurse

As a Wellness Nurse at Bickford Senior Living, you'll provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in our assisted living and memory care community. You'll complete health assessments, administer medications, and monitor changes in condition to ensure residents' safety, comfort, and dignity. Working in a warm, home-like environment, you'll collaborate closely with caregivers, families, and healthcare providers to create and follow personalized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily nursing care and health assessments for assisted living and memory care residents
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and community policies
• Monitor changes in resident condition and communicate promptly to physicians and families
• Develop, update, and document individualized care plans in the EHR system
• Collaborate with caregivers and care team to ensure resident-first, dignified care
• Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and care options
• Support infection control, fall prevention, and safety initiatives in the community
• Respond to emergencies, perform basic triage, and follow appropriate escalation protocols
