HVAC Technician
Our client is looking for an HVAC Technician to join a company in Central Illinois. This is a permanent position. In this role, you will support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and related facility systems. You will help ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently, respond to service needs, perform preventative maintenance, document completed work, and assist with identifying potential maintenance risks before they become larger issues.
You may also support inventory tracking, supply requests, and work orders as needed.
You should have 2+ years of HVAC experience in a commercial, industrial, agricultural, manufacturing, or similarly complex environment. You understand heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with team members and leadership. You should be comfortable using standard business software and maintenance-related technology. EPA Certification is required, and formal HVAC training, schooling, or additional HVAC credentials are strongly preferred.
You must be willing and able to respond to urgent maintenance needs, including occasional after-hours, weekend, or holiday support.
Compensation: $25-$40/hour
