OverviewRandazzo Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking a highly productive and detail-oriented Permits Coordinator to support permit processing and administrative coordination. The role supports the Randazzo brand and additional regional brands while ensuring compliance with municipal permitting requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit permit applications for HVAC installations and services.
- Ensure permits are obtained promptly and comply with local regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of permit applications and statuses.
- Process notification letters related to permit applications.
- Communicate with customers regarding permit requirements and status updates.
- Schedule permit and inspection appointments with municipalities.
- Coordinate with installation and service departments before work begins.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain documentation records.
- Support additional regional brands with permit submissions.
- Ensure all permitting processes comply with company policies and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in permitting or administrative coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with local building codes and permit regulations is a plus.
- Experience with Service Titan is a plus.
- Strong productivity in managing multiple permit applications.
- Problem-solving and ability to resolve permit-related challenges.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of permit software and documentation systems.
- Strong phone communication skills.
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy.
