Materials Manager

Job Title

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates all department activities necessary for maintaining accurate inventory levels for production scheduling while achieving department and company goals
• Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures
• Provides necessary support to plant production
• Coordinates with other departments on new parts, sample parts, and pilot parts to ensure timely delivery performance to customers
• Ensures all customer requirements are scheduled to the plant to ensure timely delivery
• Participates in continuous improvement activities
• Other tasks as needed by manager

Experience and Skill Requirements:

• Working knowledge of computer manufacturing systems
• Experienced using Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and Power Point

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
