CNC Mill Machinist

We have an immediate opening for an experienced CNC Mill Machinist with an aerospace company. Afternoon Shift-Start Time, 4PM or 4:30pm Duties/Responsibilities:

• Clock in & out of appropriate job operations
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Adhere to job plans per job travelers
• Set-up multiple types of jobs
• Operate all mills and associated machines as assigned
• Basic Maintenance of mills
• First part quality inspections
• Use precision measurement equipment
• Consistently produce quality parts
• Adhere to directions and instructions of direct supervisor
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years' experience with set-up and operation of CNC Mill
• Knowledgeable of set-up requirements and operation of a horizontal and vertical CNC milling equipment
• Must be capable of reading blueprints, and manage job orders to required specifications
• Familiar with Fanuc controls and concepts of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques
