Randazzo Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled and reliable journeyman electrician to support electrical work related to residential and light commercial HVAC installations and service calls throughout Macomb, MI and surrounding areas. This role is hands-on, focusing on performing high-quality electrical tasks that ensure safe and efficient HVAC system operation.

The journeyman electrician will work closely with HVAC installers, service technicians, and project leads to complete electrical wiring, upgrades, troubleshooting, and repairs. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to Randazzo customers.

• Perform electrical wiring, hookups, and component installation for new HVAC systems.
• Upgrade circuits, panels, and controls as needed to support HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues during service calls and assist HVAC technicians in diagnosing system problems.
• Ensure all electrical work meets company quality standards and job requirements.

• Work directly with installers and service techs to ensure electrical components are integrated correctly.
• Review job requirements, layouts, and plans prior to installation.
• Communicate effectively with team members to maintain workflow and resolve issues on-site.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with Michigan electrical codes (NEC) and company safety procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state regulations and industry best practices.
• Follow all Randazzo safety guidelines and participate in regular safety meetings.

• Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers while on-site.
• Explain electrical concerns or required upgrades in a clear and friendly manner.
• Provide high-quality workmanship that reflects Randazzo's reputation for excellent service.

• Licensed journeyman electrician in the state of Michigan.
• 3–5+ years of experience in residential or commercial electrical work; HVAC-related experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and controls used in HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and job layouts.
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
