- Advise students, parents, faculty, staff, and others on federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs, including completion of funding applications such as the FAFSA and GSFAPP and related documentation.
- Provide assistance regarding the financial aid process and student needs of moderate complexity via phone, in-person, and email.
- Collaborate with various university departments to support the financial aid process and the student enrollment experience.
- Coordinate and participate in outreach projects, financial aid seminars, student orientations, and workshops both on and off site.
- Collect, scan, and enter financial aid documents, correspondence, and I-9 documentation into the student information system and archive network.
- Assist the Director for Student Services with additional projects as assigned.
• Two years of college coursework and two years of administrative support experience are required. In lieu of education, equivalent directly related experience will be considered.
• General working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn and use Anthology Student or similar student information systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Data entry and records management skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing workload, and meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional, customer‑focused demeanor and ability to resolve concerns.
- Discretion, sound judgment, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with office technology and electronic document management systems.
