About the position:As a FedRAMP Project / Program Manager, you will support the planning, coordination, and tactical execution of HP’s FedRAMP readiness effort for WXP and related managed services capabilities. This role is focused on keeping the program organized, driving follow-through across work streams,maintaining the integrated project plan, coordinating stakeholder inputs,gathering and documenting requirements, and ensuring progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions are visible to the right owners.
This role will work closely with product, engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, legal, operations, managed services, GTM, and external partner teams to help keep the FedRAMP effort moving against defined milestones. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, clear communication, follow-up discipline, and the ability to turn cross-functional inputs into actionable plans, status updates, and decision-ready summaries.
Key Responsibilities:Program coordination & execution tracking
Maintain the integrated FedRAMP project plan, including milestones, owners, dependencies, action items, and status updates.
Own day-to-day upkeep of the FedRAMP Smartsheet / program tracker to ensure work streams, deliverables, risks, and next stepsremaincurrent and visible.
Track progress across concurrent FedRAMP work streams spanning product, engineering, infrastructure, security, compliance, operations, and business teams.
Follow up with workstream owners to drivetimelycompletion of actions, requirements, artifacts, and open decisions.
Helpidentifyschedule risks, blockers, dependency gaps, and execution issues that require escalation.
Serve as a central coordination point across internal HP stakeholders and external partners supporting the FedRAMP effort.
Schedule and support working sessions, readiness reviews, requirements reviews, and issue-resolution forums.
Capture meeting notes, decisions, owners, and follow-ups, and ensure items are reflected in the program tracker.
Help coordinate delivery expectations with third-party partners, including
Coalfireand Amazon, as part of the broader FedRAMP execution plan.Support clear communication across product, engineering, architecture, security, legal, operations, managed services, GTM, and leadership stakeholders.
Gather, organize, and document FedRAMP-related requirements from product, business, security, compliance, and technical stakeholders.
Helpmaintainrequirementsinventories, decision logs, artifact trackers, and dependency lists needed to support FedRAMP readiness.
Coordinate inputs for key program artifacts such as architecture documentation, control readiness materials,authorization package inputs, status reports, and executive summaries.
Support requirement clarification by routing questions to the right subject matter experts and tracking unresolved items to closure.
Ensure requirements and action items are documented consistently and connected to relevant milestones, owners, and execution plans.
Prepare regular program status updatessummarizingprogress, risks, dependencies, blockers, and decisions needed.
Support leadership and governance updates with clear, concise, executive-ready summaries.
Help translate detailed project activity into clear updates that enable faster decisions and cross-functional alignment.
Maintain organized program documentation so stakeholders can quickly understand status, next steps, and open issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
5-10 years of experience in project coordination, program management, product operations, technical program support, compliance program support, ora related role.
Exposure to FedRAMP, DoD IL5, cloud compliance, cybersecurity, audit readiness, or authorization programs.
Experience supporting technical or compliance-driven programs in partnership with engineering, security, architecture, legal, or operations teams.
Experience maintaining Smartsheet dashboards, integrated project plans, milestone trackers, risk logs, or executive reporting materials.
Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously whilemaintainingclear documentation and follow-through.
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with complex stakeholder maps, evolving requirements, and shifting priorities.
