Responsibilities:

Oversee daily grading operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Manage and train crew members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Conduct site assessments and prepare grading plans according to project specifications.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on all job sites.

Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.

Monitor equipment maintenance and oversee repairs to ensure optimal performance.

Maintain accurate project documentation and reports for management review.

Implement best practices for erosion control and land preservation during grading activities.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in grading and excavation operations.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; CDL preferred.

Knowledge of grading equipment and machinery, including operation and maintenance.

Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
