Job DescriptionAs a Leasing Consultant, you will serve as the primary point of contact for both prospective and current residents. Your responsibilities include guiding prospects through the leasing process from initial inquiry to move‑in, managing applications, conducting background checks, preparing lease agreements, coordinating inspections, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations. You’ll also provide exceptional customer service, address resident concerns, handle lease renewals, support community events, and maintain accurate resident records.

Key Responsibilities- Engage prospective residents with property tours, inquiries, and promotion of community amenities.
- Drive occupancy goals by communicating benefits of Arcan Capital’s apartment homes and guiding prospects through the application process.
- Assist with leasing operations, including processing applications, conducting background checks, and preparing lease agreements.
- Ensure move‑in readiness by coordinating apartment inspections and verifying all preparations.
- Provide exceptional customer service: address resident concerns, handle lease renewals, and foster a welcoming environment.
- Manage leasing‑related administrative tasks, maintaining accurate resident records.
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in‑person interactions with a professional, friendly approach.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitor properties to position Arcan Capital’s communities.
- Support community events and resident engagement initiatives to enhance the living experience.
- Customer‑service‑oriented mindset with a passion for helping people.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus.
- Team player with a positive, professional attitude and commitment to excellence.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Prior experience in customer service, leasing, hospitality, or administrative support. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
