Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time on‑site role for a Pediatric Gastroenterologist located in West Bloomfield Township, MI. The Pediatric Gastroenterologist will be responsible for diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal, hepatological, and nutritional disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. Daily tasks include conducting patient assessments, performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, consulting with multidisciplinary teams, and managing treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
The role also includes providing education to families and mentoring medical staff and trainees.
- Expertise in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, with a focus on pediatric patients
- Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopy and Capsule Endoscopy procedures
- Strong foundation in general Medicine, including comprehensive patient assessments and management
- Experience and knowledge in handling complex gastrointestinal and liver conditions
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and medical teams
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient‑centered care
- Ability to contribute to education and mentorship
