Locums Medical Oncology Physician in Georgia - Outpatient Flexible Blocks
Medical Oncology Physician locums opportunity in Macon, Georgia, offering outpatient clinic coverage across two nearby locations.
Highlights
- Outpatient-only Medical Oncology
- Minimum two weeks per month
- Light weekend call, primarily phone-based
- Part-time or full-time block options
Practice Setting
- Clinic coverage in Macon and Hawkinsville
- No inpatient procedures or BMT
- Dedicated oncology support staff
- Adult patient population
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Three days in Macon, two days in Hawkinsville
- Ongoing assignment with extension potential
- One weekend call per month
Cases and Procedures
- General Medical Oncology only
- 20 to 25 patients per day
- No hematology, transplant, or acute leukemia cases
- Inpatient rounding during weekend call averages 6 to 8 patients daily
Requirements
- Board Certified Medical Oncologist or Hematology and Oncology Physician
- Active Georgia license or IMLC LOQ
- DEA certification
Travel Accommodations
- Flights, lodging, rental car, and mileage included
