Locums Medical Oncology Physician in Georgia - Outpatient Blocks, Light Call
Medical Oncology Physician locums opportunity in Georgia in Macon, offering outpatient clinic coverage across two nearby locations with recurring block options.
Highlights
- Outpatient only Medical Oncology
- Minimum two weeks per month
- Light weekend call
- Part-time or full-time block options
Practice Setting
- Clinic coverage in Macon and Hawkinsville
- Adult patient population
- No BMT or acute leukemia cases
- Dedicated oncology support staff
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Three days in Macon and two days in Hawkinsville
- Ongoing assignment with extension potential
- One weekend call per month
Cases and Procedures
- General Medical Oncology
- 20 to 25 patients per day
- No hematology coverage required
- Weekend rounding averages 6 to 8 patients daily
Requirements
- Board Certified Medical Oncology or Hematology and Oncology Physician
- Active Georgia license or IMLC LOQ
Travel Accommodations
- Flights, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
