Seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join the team at Navicent in Macon, GA, offering a great work-life balance. The provider will deliver comprehensive anesthesia services at Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center, recognized nationally as a premier teaching hospital and the second-largest hospital in Georgia. The practice utilizes a collaborative care team model comprising 16 anesthesiologists and 58 anesthetists to ensure care excellence.

- Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center in Macon, GA
- 637 licensed beds for medical surgical, cardiac surgery, trauma treatment, and pediatrics
- Level I Trauma Center, a children's hospital built in 2019, 34 operating rooms and several ancillary suites, and a stand-alone outpatient facility
- Practice consists of 16 anesthesiologists and 58 anesthetists, including CRNAs and Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) who work together in a care team model
- General surgery, cardiac, pediatrics, OB and GYN services, ortho, trauma, plastics, ENT, urology, and neurosurgery
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Compensation
- Salary: $565K
- Sign on
Incentives:
$50K or $75K if Peds Capable

Shift & Schedule
- Full-time
- Call: 7:00pm-7:00am provides 2 days post call off
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current medical licensure
- ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
