Workday Finance Training Instructor (Contract)

We are seeking several Finance Training Instructors to support a large-scale financial system transformation across 7 agencies. With content already developed and a Train-the-Trainer program in place, we need experienced facilitators who can step in, master the material, and ensure "Day 1 Readiness" for over 350 learners.

• Timeline: Training begins mid-to-late April;
  System Cutover in mid-June;
  Go-live July 1.
• Volume: 14–20 instructor-led courses covering the full financial back office.
• Focus: Delivering existing ILT and E-learning content (Financial Accounting, AP, Banking & Settlement, etc.).

• Instructional Delivery: Lead classroom and virtual training using pre-developed workbooks, e-learning modules, and testing scripts.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Quickly pivot to understand the "how" and "why" of the system design to articulate complex financial processes.
• Audience Segmentation: Assist in identifying role-specific training needs (e.g., distinguishing AP Specialists from Banking & Settlement roles).
• Last-Mile Readiness: Support the OCM team in addressing change impacts and ensuring local staff are prepared for the July 1 go-live.
• Post-Go-Live Support: Provide sustainment training and "cheat sheet" updates during the stabilization phase.

• Finance Background: Strong foundational knowledge of financial back-office operations (AP, GL, Reporting).

• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a decentralized environment and scale delivery within a compressed timeline.
• Communication: Skilled at translating technical BA scripts into digestible, process-oriented learning for end-users.
