The Department of Education within the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences at Middle Georgia State University is seeking part‑time Education instructors for the Macon and Cochran campuses. Instructors will teach literacy, math, and/or foundational courses and supervise field experiences. Courses will be delivered face‑to‑face, in hybrid format (online + face‑to‑face), and will meet during school hours, evenings, and/or Saturdays.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of a master’s degree in Education, Literacy, Special Education, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of experience teaching in P‑12.
- Hold an Elementary Education teaching certification in GA.
- Current knowledge of new literacy teaching practices.
- Availability to teach two Saturdays per month.
- Teaching in a higher‑education setting within a teacher education program.
- Letter of interest (include availability for school hours, evenings, or Saturdays).
- Curriculum vitae.
- Unofficial academic transcripts (undergraduate and graduate).
- Name and contact information of four professional references.
