Job SummaryThe Department of Computer Science within the School of Computing at Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates to serve as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. This is a ten‑month tenure track position that involves teaching, scholarship, and service.
Responsibilities- Teaching undergraduate courses, including a variety of CS core and elective courses.
- Teach day and/or evening classes, with travel required between campuses (Cochran, Dublin, Macon, Warner Robins).
- Provide online teaching experience.
- Engage in service to the institution.
- Conduct active research and scholarship leading to publication in peer‑reviewed journals.
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science or a related computing discipline.
- Reasonable record of teaching and scholarship that warrants assistant‑professor appointment.
