About the DepartmentMiddle Georgia State University is a public institution with five campuses in central Georgia. The Department of English offers a B.A. with concentrations in Creative Writing, Professional Writing, Secondary Education, Pre-Law, and Generalist studies; three graduate certificates; an M.A. program in Professional and Technical Writing; and minors in Creative Writing and Professional Writing. The department offers classes through face‑to‑face, online, and video‑conference delivery methods.
Job SummaryThe Department of English in the School of Arts and Letters is seeking a part‑time English instructor to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in composition and literature.
Required Qualifications- Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in English.
- Experience teaching college‑level composition and/or literature.
