Job Title
ARC Supplemental Instruction Mentor
Department & SupervisorAcademic Resource Center – Supervisor:
Stephanie Mooring
- Assist the SI supervisor in supporting, training, and encouraging SI leaders.
- Attend SI training meetings and conduct SI session observations.
- Complete SI observation reports and meet with the SI supervisor throughout the semester.
- Establish rapport with assigned SI leaders and hold individual conferences to review observed performance.
- Help prepare SI training materials.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior SI leader or tutoring experience is beneficial, but not required.
- Sophomore standing or higher with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Referral from Mercer faculty.
- Professional and congenial attitude with an interest in the success of others.
Pay rate: $10 per hour

12 hours weekly
Start Date:
08/15/2026
End Date: 05/14/2027
