Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a multi-campus, baccalaureate and graduate degree-granting public institution, is the most affordable public state university in Georgia. Job Summary
The student will work in cataloging and digitizing the Museum of Aviation
¿ s 483rd Bombardment Group collection, a World War II collection that is housed on the Macon Campus.
Responsibilities
* Process specific areas of the 483rd collection according to DACS standards
* Data Entry using the Archivera cataloging system
* Document any conservation needs related to the collection
* Develop tags/subject terms associated with the individual records found in the collection for finding aid inclusion
* Create finding aids of the collection assigned using DACS standards
* Verify and research the current 483rd paper cataloging system with the new electronic one
* Complete internship discussion posts and final reflection
Required Qualifications
* Minimum GPA of 2.5
* Be currently enrolled student at Middle Georgia State University for at least 6 credit hours
* Students must be either an English or History major.
* Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.

* Thorough attention to detail
* Ability to think creatively and problem solve
* Enthusiasm for learning more about archives and archival processes
