The student will work in cataloging and digitizing the Museum of Aviation’s 483rd Bombardment Group collection, a World War II collection that is housed on the Macon Campus.

• Process specific areas of the 483rd collection according to DACS standards
• Data Entry using the Archivera cataloging system
• Document any conservation needs related to the collection
• Develop tags/subject terms associated with the individual records found in the collection for finding aid inclusion
• Create finding aids of the collection assigned using DACS standards
• Verify and research the current 483rd paper cataloging system with the new electronic one
• Complete internship discussion posts and final reflection

• Minimum GPA of 2.5
• Be currently enrolled student at Middle Georgia State University for at least 6 credit hours
• Students must be either an English or History major.
• Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
