The student will work in cataloging and digitizing the Museum of Aviation’s 483rd Bombardment Group collection, a World War II collection that is housed on the Macon Campus.
Responsibilities- Process specific areas of the 483rd collection according to DACS standards
- Data Entry using the Archivera cataloging system
- Document any conservation needs related to the collection
- Develop tags/subject terms associated with the individual records found in the collection for finding aid inclusion
- Create finding aids of the collection assigned using DACS standards
- Verify and research the current 483rd paper cataloging system with the new electronic one
- Complete internship discussion posts and final reflection
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Be currently enrolled student at Middle Georgia State University for at least 6 credit hours
- Students must be either an English or History major.
- Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.

- Enthusiasm for learning more about archives and archival processes
