Non‑tenure track faculty position on the Macon, Georgia campus. Rank will be determined based on the credentials of the selected candidate.
Responsibilities- Clinical duties (65% of time): faculty attending for inpatient ward teams – 4 to 6 months; teaching physical diagnosis for residents and/or students/clinical skills at bedside; teaching and mentoring residents and/or students in internal medicine; participating in core curriculum conferences, morning report, student teaching rounds, and other departmental teaching conferences as needed; participating on Mercer committees as needed; other administrative duties as assigned by department chairman/PD/Dean;
weekly outpatient resident teaching clinic to teach students and residents. - Didactic teaching duties (35% of time): participating/leading problem‑based learning (PBL).
- M.D. degree.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Georgia medical license or eligibility for licensure in Georgia.
Selection of the final candidate contingent on successful background check.
