Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a multi-campus, baccalaureate and graduate degree-granting public institution, is the most affordable public state university in Georgia. MGA has five campuses-Macon, Cochran, Dublin, Eastman, and Warner Robins, all located in central Georgia-and global outreach through its fully-online campus. Its enrollment of 8,400 students is largely comprised of students from most of Georgia's 159 counties. The University has six academic schools, including Georgia's flagship aviation program, that support its mission to educate and graduate inspired, lifelong learners whose scholarship and careers enhance the state.

This is a part-time student position within the Office of Student Life, focused on supporting the organization and smooth execution of campus activities. Responsibilities include managing campus bulletin boards, directing phone calls, setting up and breaking down events, assisting Student Affairs staff, and overseeing game room equipment. Student workers are expected to provide customer service, maintain a tidy workspace, and actively engage in promoting and supporting Student Life events.

• Maintain Campus Bulletin Boards (Checked once a day)
• Take detailed messages and direct phone calls
• Set up / Break Down Events
• Advertise Events
• Participate in Student Life Events
• Run Student Life Events
• Inform Supervisor of any maintenance issues
• Maintain the duty log workbook and supplies sign out sheet
• Assist Office of Student Life / Affairs professionals as needed
• Check in and out game room equipment and supplies
• Keep the conference room, game room, computer lab, meditation room, and all spaces of Welch Hall clean and tidy
• Attend all meetings/training assigned by supervisors
• Promote and encourage students to participate in hosted events
• Represent Middle Georgia State University with professionalism

• Minimum GPA of 2.5
• Currently enrolled at Middle Georgia State University for at least 6 credit hours, 12 hours preferably
• Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
