Hardware Fabrication Build Lead​/Supervisor - Level 3

You will be the Hardware Fabrication Build Lead/Supervisor for the Hardware Fabrication Team which is responsible for delivering high-quality hardware components that enable mission-critical platforms.

As the Hardware Fabrication Build Lead/Supervisor you will be responsible for leading the fabrication crew, ensuring projects meet schedule, quality, and safety targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and manage daily activities of hardware fabrication technical staff to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Implement and manage quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards of technical work and product output.
• Mentor and train new technical staff, providing guidance on company procedures and project-specific tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that arise during project execution.
• Develop, monitor, and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all technical staff.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

This position is in Marietta, GA.

• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings (i.e. blueprints)

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite:
  Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally, in writing, and in group settings as a member or leader.
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical, non-technical, and business staff at all levels.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
