Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in the automotive industry to support design, development, validation, and manufacturing of mechanical systems and components. The role requires hands-on engineering expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and validate mechanical components and systems for automotive applications
  • Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection
  • Support prototype build, testing, and validation activities (DV/PV)
  • Analyze failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams
  • Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications
  • Support cost reduction, weight optimization, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards, safety, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive mechanical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and DFMEA
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, Creo, or Solid Works
  • Familiarity with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
