- Deliver maintenance and engineering support for the Macon facility to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Lead the installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment, while maintaining and optimizing ongoing machine performance.
- Ensure strict adherence to Freudenberg safety standards and OSHA regulations, including consistent use of required PPE, to maintain a safe work environment and prevent workplace injuries.
- Provide leadership and guidance to site mechanics, electricians, and control technicians to drive team performance and accountability.
- Drive innovation by contributing to the design, development, and continuous improvement of equipment and processes aligned with business objectives.
- Apply and enhance expertise in engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management to support operational excellence and leadership development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (with electrical focus) or Electrical Engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with Siemens PLCs (programming, troubleshooting, maintenance).
- Knowledge of automation and industrial control systems.
- Project management experience, including CAPEX, energy monitoring, and sustainability initiatives.
- Manufacturing experience required.
- Nonwovens or related industry experience preferred.
