Engineering Intern

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the Engineering Department with ESPC plan review, utility plan review, and permitting submittals

Support hydrology and stormwater review activities in accordance with local and state requirements

Assist with LDP, NPDES, and project tracking documentation

Help with GIS coordination, mapping, and project-related data updates

Assist Project Managers with project documentation, coordination, and follow-up items

Assist with coordination between Engineering staff, Inspectors, Project Managers, and external consultants

Support field inspections and site visits when required

Assist with preparation of reports, review comments, and approval letters

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, GIS, Construction Management, or a related field

Interest in water resources, stormwater management, utility engineering, GIS, or project management

Basic understanding of engineering principles, mapping, and project coordination

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS software, or project management tools is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills
