Project Engineer, Electrical Engineering

* Deliver maintenance and engineering support for the Macon facility to ensure optimal operational performance.

* Lead the installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment, while maintaining and optimizing ongoing machine performance.

* Ensure strict adherence to Freudenberg safety standards and OSHA regulations, including consistent use of required PPE, to maintain a safe work environment and prevent workplace injuries.

* Provide leadership and guidance to site mechanics, electricians, and control technicians to drive team performance and accountability.

* Drive innovation by contributing to the design, development, and continuous improvement of equipment and processes aligned with business objectives.

* Apply and enhance expertise in engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management to support operational excellence and leadership development.

Qualificationsarrow_right

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (with electrical focus) or Electrical Engineering.

* Hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs (programming, troubleshooting, maintenance).

* Knowledge of automation and industrial control systems.

* Project management experience, including CAPEX, energy monitoring, and sustainability initiatives.

* Manufacturing experience required.

* Nonwovens or related industry experience preferred.
