* What You Will Do:

*** Analyze data to facilitate process improvements; assist with process certification projects to implement process improvements; develop and stand up methods of process certification and control for legacy manufacturing (e.g. control charts, statistical process control, etc.).
* Work with a multifunctional team to improve Quality-focused business metrics, such as COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) and yield.
* Support outsourced process suppliers with process certification and improvement activities.
* Implement SPC on current and future production processes.
* Work with suppliers to help them meet P&W quality requirements; create and maintain key relationships with Suppliers’ Quality and Operations Management teams, as well as PW Engineering, Procurement, and support organizations to resolve production challenges in a high paced environment.
* Conduct reject data analysis using Solumina and SAP to collect and analyze data to implement process and design changes at suppliers to improve their quality and productivity.
* Engage with NSA/MCL, Engineering, Materials and critical stake holders and visit suppliers to improve overall quality signature of supplier.
* Collect/Compile data and drive Continuous improvement initiatives at the Supplier in reaction to escapes, and in support of reduced. cost and lead-time. Hold Suppliers accountable for root cause and corrective actions and implement sustainable corrective / preventive action on all escapes/issues.
* Team with Engineering and Procurement to execute proactive supply base improvement plans that improve Quality signature and to ensure customer confidence
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or similar environment OR a Master's degree and 5 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or similar environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
* Demonstrated experience meeting commitments in a deadline driven environment; ability to balance and resolve conflicting priorities
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Degree in aerospace/industrial/manufacturing/mechanical/quality engineering
* Hands on work experience in a quality environment
* Working knowledge of AS9100
* Proficiency in SAP/Solumina
* Certified Quality Engineer or Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt
* Practical experience in APQP techniques
