Description:
Local Macon Company is looking for a permanent Direct Hire Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
Lead the installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment, while maintaining and optimizing ongoing machine performance
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and OSHA regulations, including consistent use of required PPE, to maintain a safe work environment and prevent workplace injuries.
Provide leadership and guidance to site mechanics, electricians, and control technicians to drive team performance and accountability.
Drive innovation by contributing to the design, development, and continuous improvement of equipment and processes aligned with business objectives.
Apply and enhance expertise in engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management to support operational excellence and leadership development.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering
Experience in PLC and Siemens
Knowledge of automation and industrial control systems
Manufacturing experience
Monday-Friday
