Reporting to the Financial Services Manager, the Cost Accountant will be responsible for day‑to‑day financial reporting activities including cost analysis of finished goods and raw materials, metrics and dashboards to track daily production and inventory results, as well as labor and plant overhead spending.

• Assist in monthly financial close including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Review and present financial results and KPI’s to operational departments; assist in identifying and tracking cost control measures
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Product costing and new product setup in ERP environment
• Lead some special project work as assigned

Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting is preferred.

• 2–5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Clear understanding and dedication to meeting deadlines
• Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced, dynamic working environment
• Ability to analyze and communicate data effectively and accurately
• Familiarity with JD Edwards would be an asset
