Outside Food Sales Representative — Macon, GA.

Deliver excellent food service solutions and cultivate relationships with existing and prospective customers within your assigned territory.

• Identify and research prospective customers, and pursue new customers.
• Deepen and strengthen existing customer relationships by visiting them on a regular basis, conducting business reviews, and providing ongoing training on product offerings.
• Develop sales strategies that highlight products, services, values, and solutions offered by Gordon Food Service and present them to prospective and existing customers.
• Manage the sales territory, balancing new customer acquisition with deepening existing relationships, coordinating visits, and communicating order status and updates.

• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• At least 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record; ability to obtain food safety certification.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building, and territory‑management skills.
• If currently employed by a Gordon Food Service customer, provide a letter of support from management.

During the first 90 days, you will receive training through e‑learning, classroom sessions, video roleplays, job shadowing, and peer mentorship to learn systems, products, sales process, and territory management techniques.
