Position: Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Registered Nurse - $1,933 per week

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience

• 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
  Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program:

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program:

Additional Details
Required Skills/Experience

• trach chare, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucommander, insulin drips, heparin drips, drips to titrate to HR NOT BP
• IV insertion and Maintenance skills
• Cardiac monitoring and interpretation

Required Credentials

• Associate’s degree at a minimum
• BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) – test completed during onboarding

Unit/Facility Details: Have free parking around campus or can pay to park in parking decks
Special Requests: Holiday Requirements: work one shift of each major holiday (Thanksgiving Day or day after + 12/24 or 12/25 + 12/31 or 1/1)
Shift & Scheduling

• 36 or 48 hours are available.
• On Call, Call Back Requirements:
  None
• Weekend Rotation: 6 shifts in a 6 week schedule (6 out of 12 shifts)

Floating Requirements: All med surg/ telemetry units
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - 1 required for submission
