Overview
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Performs noninvasive testing for evidence of peripheral vascular (arterial and venous), renal, aorta/iliac and carotid artery disease. Prepares preliminary findings. Provides patient care services using imaging modalities to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications- Education:
Graduate of AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required or In lieu of above, equivalent experience according to IAC Required
- No experience required
- 2 years of experience in a hospital inpatient, outpatient/ambulatory setting as a vascular sonographer Preferred
- ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography ARDMS registered for Ultrasound and one of the following Upon Hire Required
- RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist RVT through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Required
- RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer RVS through Cardiovascular Credential International (CCI) Required
- RT(S) Required
- RT(VS) Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
