• Skills in acute care, assessment, discharge, evaluation, geriatrics, long-term goals, neurology, orthopedics, plan of care, reassessments, rehabilitation hospital, short-term goals, and time management

Description:

Schedule is Monday through Friday with one weekend shift per month. Rotation includes one weekend a month. No call required. Floating may occur within scope of practice as necessary. Compliance with all requirements is critical to ensure a timely start. If non-compliance occurs, the start date may be delayed by two weeks. Travelers are expected to work major holidays if they fall during the assignment period.

If one major holiday occurs, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of them. Compliance items must be completed within 48 hours of the contract signing. All compliance documents are due the Tuesday prior to the start date.

This position involves working with diverse patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The facility may have a set daily census and various patient visits per day depending on the needs. It is important to ensure all required skills are met before submission for consideration.
