As a COTA, you will play a key role in helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals while working with a dedicated interdisciplinary care team. Whether newly licensed or have a wealth of experience, we can support your career goals.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Occupational Therapy scope of practice
- Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
- Completes all necessary documentation via Net Health
- Collaborate with supervising OT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling COTA/OT co-signature and supervision requirements
- Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
- Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
- Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
- Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor
- Current or eligible COTA license in the state of practice
- Competitive compensation = $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
