We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant I to support our healthcare providers and enhance patient experiences. Must be able to travel to satellite offices in Dublin, GA, Warner Robins, GA, Milledgeville, GA, and Macon, GA on a weekly rotation.

Work Schedule:

7:45 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday
- Friday

Warner Robins, GA
- Mondays and alternating Tuesdays

Dublin, GA
- Wednesdays and Tuesdays when the Warner Robins location is closed.

Milledgeville, GA
- Thursdays

Macon, GA
- Fridays

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in process
• Obtain and document patient medical histories and current health information accurately
• Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures and examinations
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready
• Collect and process laboratory specimens and perform basic diagnostic tests as directed
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
• Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure care and answer general questions
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Manage and update patient records in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance verification as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant certification program preferred
• Prior experience in a clinical setting is a plus
• Certified Medical Assistant is a plus
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and EHR systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a professional demeanor
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
