Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.

The Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs and physician directions. This role emphasizes patient and employee safety, compliance with organizational policies, and adherence to professional standards.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for assigned patients.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on patient discharge.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address discharge barriers.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs.
• Document patient care clearly and accurately in medical records.
• Participate in student programs, providing supervision and evaluation.
• Engage in professional development and advocacy efforts in the community.

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association.
• BLS Certification.
• One or more years of clinical experience.
