Work Designation- If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. You will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.

- Bachelor’s degree in information security, Information Technology, Business Management, Project Management or related field
- Six or more years of project management, program management or other work‑related experience
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, project management skills, and the ability to lead remote cross‑functional teams to deliver robust security solutions is critical.

PrincipalDuties & Responsibilities
- Manage the intake process for new security requests, including assessment, prioritization, and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Partner with stakeholders to capture security work requests, define scope, and assess resourcing needs.
- Facilitate decision‑making forums for intake approval and prioritization.
- Track KPIs, OKRs, and key success metrics to drive accountability and transparency across the Global Security Program.
- Prepare and deliver executive‑level dashboards and reports on security program performance, risks, and value delivery.
- Lead the planning and execution of tactical security projects, from initiation through delivery.
- Assists in the creation of project artifacts and delivery of projects, providing support to project team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assesses variances from the project plan; gathers metrics; develops and implements changes as necessary to ensure that the project remains within specified scope, time, cost, and quality objectives.
- Builds strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy‑in for security initiatives.
