We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Analyst with strong expertise in SAP FI-AR/FI-AP and Healthcare Claims Integration to support a critical enterprise initiative. This role will focus on implementing new Accounts Receivable (AR) functionality and managing complex integrations between SAP ECC 6.0 and external healthcare claims/clearinghouse systems.
The ideal candidate will serve as the primary SME for end-to-end payment and reimbursement processes, while also mentoring internal teams and supporting long-term operational readiness.
Role Responsibilities- Lead functional design and configuration for SAP FI-AR and FI-AP processes
- Design and support integrations between SAP ECC and external healthcare/claims systems
- Implement and support high-volume Accounts Receivable processing and automated payment postings
- Configure ACH, Check, and Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) processing
- Support Consolidated Financial Billing (CFB) processes for VBP and MA PPO fee structures
- Develop and execute Functional Testing, Integration Testing, and UAT scenarios
- Troubleshoot interface failures, posting issues, and reconciliation discrepancies
- Collaborate with ABAP developers on enhancements, User Exits, BAdIs, and custom developments
- Create detailed functional specifications, interface mappings, and process documentation
- Mentor internal SAP functional resources through knowledge transfer sessions
- 8+ years of hands‑on SAP FI functional experience
- Strong expertise in:
- FI-AR
- FI-AP
- Automated AR posting logic
- Experience with healthcare payer or claims environments
- Strong understanding of:
- 837 / 835 transactions
- HIPAA-compliant integrations
- Medical claims reimbursement workflows
- Deep experience with:
- IDocs
- File-based integrations
- Electronic Bank Statements (EBS)
- Experience working with:
- SAP Process Integration / PO
- ABAP teams for debugging and enhancements
- Strong knowledge of:
- SAP ECC 6.0 (EHP7 preferred)
- Core FI tables and financial posting architecture
- Experience in Healthcare Payer / Insurance environments
- Experience with:
- CFB (Consolidated Financial Billing)
- VBP (Value-Based Payments)
- Exposure to SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud
- Ability to translate complex medical billing logic into SAP financial processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
