A day in the life.

As our Risk Management Claims Director on the Business Insurance you'll be responsible for the overall strategy and results on assigned Accounts generating greater than $150,000 in BI revenue. The measurement criteria for strategic results will include client retention, revenue growth per client, and making sure that we are providing the best and most comprehensive Risk Management program and claims solutions for clients.

For assigned accounts you will work closely with the service team of those clients with our "Customer First" client engagement strategy. As part of this responsibility, you will also be required enlist support and resources for our client engagement strategy for accounts generating $150,000 or greater in BI revenue. The Risk Management/Claims Director will also be responsible for assisting Georgia BI producers in pre-qualifying, developing strategy and providing resources to advance new business opportunities that have the potential to generate more than $150,000 in new agency revenue.

The RMCD role is considered a position of highest technical knowledge and leadership and as such, will be required to provide other BI producers and service team members with educational resources and knowledge that will differentiate MMA as the broker of choice when it comes to product knowledge, claims handling, creative solutions to manage or address risk, and new areas of compliance or interest that clients should be aware of.

This same technical knowledge will be required to assist in the vertical build-out and expansion amongst certain industry segments as needed.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • In-depth working knowledge of National Account commercial insurance with 10+ years of industry experience and demonstrated relationship management skills.
  • Experience establishing strategy and direction for large and complex commercial programs.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects while ensuring timely and accurate client deliverables, with effective problem solving and resolution skills. Strong organizational, project planning, time management, analytical and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent client relationship building and presentation skills.
  • Superior listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required.
  • State Property/Casualty insurance license required.
