Your role as a Maintenance SupervisorKey responsibilities:
- Ensure all equipment is used and maintained according to the supplier’s guidelines. This includes conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, fire protection, freeze doors, oxygen reduction, and other installations.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance tasks or repairs promptly and safely to minimize disruption to operations.
- Work within budget and achieve established KPIs.
- Follow the maintenance plan efficiently to minimize impact on operations while meeting or exceeding supplier guidelines.
- Lead and supervise the sanitation team to maintain site cleanliness and appearance.
- Complete all work safely and on schedule.
- Collaborate with equipment suppliers and/or contractors to ensure proper training of maintenance technicians.
- Establish internal reporting and communication as directed by the Site Manager.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of all equipment and contracts onsite, including cooling systems, oxygen reduction, dock doors, and others.
- Commit to ongoing self and team development through internal and external resources.
- Meet the physical demands of the Maintenance and Operator team roles.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
We are seeking motivated and forward‑thinking individuals who thrive in collaborative and fast‑moving environments. Our ideal candidate has:
Requirements:- 12+ years of maintenance experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automated machinery (conveyors, automated cranes, palletizers, trolleys)
- Electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical knowledge
- Knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
- Associate’s degree preferred but not required
- Must be in good physical condition
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work effectively in a cold freezer environment
- Must be able to climb a 120 ft ladder using a safety harness
- Will be required to wear an SCBA while working, requiring the employee to be clean‑shaven
