• Lead a customer-centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office.
• Provide front-line leadership and development of tax office associates, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving office growth objectives.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource on tax topics and products for associates; advance your knowledge and skills to excel with the team.
• Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement.
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office assistant positions; lead daily activities to ensure work is completed on time with quality standards.
• Lead daily team meetings; create associate work schedules and ensure accurate timekeeping and overtime management.
• Prepare tax returns as required and conduct timely performance reviews; partner with the Associate Relations Center to resolve issues and address performance concerns.
• Provide escalation support for onsite client service concerns and ensure proper scheduling and conflict resolution.

• Prior experience in customer service, shift leadership, or a similar role; experience supervising or managing people.
• 2+ years as a Tax Professional or equivalent; completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course if preparing tax returns.
• Annual continuing education and ability to meet IRS and state requirements; computer proficiency with MS Office; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher; flexible work schedule and adaptability to business needs.
