Lead the Delivery of Mission-Critical Infrastructure

We are recruiting an experienced Data Center Commissioning Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, mission‑critical infrastructure projects across hyperscale and enterprise data center environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commissioning professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects from pre‑construction through final handover, working alongside highly skilled technical teams to deliver facilities that perform from day one.

This is more than a traditional project management role. You will:

• Take ownership of project delivery and key client relationships
• Work alongside experienced engineering and commissioning teams
• Help shape operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
• Play a key role in developing and mentoring commissioning professionals

Candidates with experience across the full L1–L5 commissioning lifecycle within hyperscale or large‑scale data center environments are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Manage commissioning activities from pre‑construction through final acceptance
• Lead functional testing, integrated systems testing, and final validation
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Coordinate commissioning activities with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders

• Identify project risks, scope gaps, and technical issues early in the delivery process
• Support field teams with technical guidance and problem resolution
• Review construction documentation, specifications, and contracts to ensure successful project execution
• Drive commissioning best practices across multiple projects
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, utilization, and profitability
• Review project invoicing and financial performance
• Support reporting and commercial management throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead, mentor, and develop commissioning engineers and project teams
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and team development
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and consistent project delivery standards

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout project delivery
• Support proposals, pricing activities, and future project opportunities
• Contribute to long‑term business growth through exceptional service delivery

• Ensure consistent commissioning standards across all projects
• Drive operational improvements and commissioning process enhancements
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and technical excellence

• 10+ years' experience within commissioning, engineering, or mission‑critical construction
• At least 3 years' experience delivering data center commissioning projects
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and multidisciplinary teams

• Full L1–L5 commissioning lifecycle experience
• Previous experience within hyperscale data center environments

• Strong understanding of MEP systems and commissioning methodologies
• Knowledge of integrated building systems and critical infrastructure
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation

• Proven leadership and people management experience
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and commercial performance
• Excellent organisational, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Comfortable operating strategically while remaining hands‑on when required
• Active construction sites and mission‑critical facilities
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and navigate live project environments
• Travel required based on project and client requirements
