Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering

- Prepare timelines, schedules, and coordinate multiple disciplines to meet required schedules.
- Prepare equipment/line proposals, installations, startups, and validations.
- Analyze trend data, troubleshoot process problems.
- Observe all safety rules and always use the proper safety equipment.
- Perform other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
- Follow necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum four years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High-speed, high-volume production machinery experience is preferred.
- Basic project management skills desired.
- Standard knowledge of high-speed manufacturing equipment.
- Standard knowledge in material handling concepts, material flow concepts, and plant layout.
- Standard knowledge of project management and cost accounting principles.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify machine, material, and/or process improvements and implement solutions.
- Ability to teach/train operating personnel and write procedures/manuals.
Hearing Conservation Program environment – hearing protection is required. Production, warehouse, and office environments with varying temperatures.
Physical Requirements- Walk/stand often during an 8‑hour shift.
- Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and squatting throughout the shift.
- Occasional reaching overhead during the shift.
- Occasional pushing and pulling with arms and legs throughout the shift, including materials requiring up to 50 lbs of force to maneuver.
- Occasional lifting or carrying of boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Constant use of hands throughout the shift.
- Constant light and firm grasping with hands throughout the shift.
