Job Description Electro-Mechanical Technician| Hiring Immediately | Macon, Georgia Compensation:
* Competitive starting pay range of $34.95-$40.76 per hour, paid weekly Available

Shift:
* 2nd Shift
* 12-hour
* 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Repair, modify, and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure products are in specification.
* Fabricates parts not commercially available,
* Troubleshoots electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls.
* Communicates on all project needs with Maintenance & Production Supervisors/Managers.
* Assist (as required) in the training and skill upgrading of other maintenance and production personnel.
* Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
* Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.
* Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
* Maintains excellent safety record.
* Maintains an excellent attendance record.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Interpersonal skills.
* Strong sense of urgency.
* Must have good written and verbal communication skills
* Intermediate computer knowledge.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.
* PLC ladder diagram reading.
* Full understanding of all levels of wiring diagrams.

Qualifications:

*

High School Diploma or GED required.
* Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience.
* At least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including successful completion of jobs or similar activities.
* At least three (3) years of experience in mechanics.
* At least three (3) years of experience in controls.
* Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS);
Maintenance Connection experience preferred.
* A technical school certificate or diploma in a specific work-related area, such as electronics technology or electro-mechanical engineering technology, is preferred.

* Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)
* Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent)
* Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)
