Tool & Die Maker

Masterack is looking for a skilled Tool & Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll build, repair, and maintain tooling, dies, fixtures, and other equipment that keeps production running safely and efficiently. • Build, repair, and maintain tooling, dies, fixtures, jigs, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and make repairs to reduce downtime.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Operate machine shop equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on tooling and equipment.
• Help improve tooling and manufacturing processes.
• Complete maintenance and production paperwork.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of Tool & Die, Machinist, or Tool Room experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Experience operating manual machine shop equipment.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• CNC machining
• Welding or fabrication
• Preventive maintenance
• Lean Manufacturing or 5S

• Stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
• Work overtime when needed.
