Assembly Operator 2nd Shift (Monofunct) Macon
Operate a variety of machines to produce standard quality as indicated by job cards. Inspect throughout process and pack product in standard containers with proper labeling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive operating instructions from supervisor and understand job cards to produce product in amount needed using automated machinery.
- Recognize and remove defective product.
- Use measuring devices for quality assurance.
- Work at each process using job card system.
- Ensure correct packing and labeling of product.
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Perform other work as required by supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED (minimum)
Physical Demands:
While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop/bend, reach/stretch, climb, use hands and arms to lift objects and/or materials weighing up to 50lbs. The employee may be required to occasionally push materials or product that weigh up to 40lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is required to wear appropriate safety protective equipment at the proper times and in the proper environments as required by safety program rules.
